About Martha Hutchens

Martha Hutchens writes historical inspirational romance, concentrating on the World War II era. In 2019, she won the Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart award for Romance with Spiritual and Religious Elements. She is currently working on a series set in the farmland of Southeast Missouri during World War II, and finding her father to be a great source of information since he remembers his father’s stories of that time and place.

Martha is a retired homeschool mom. Her daughter is in college pursuing a degree in biochemistry with an eye toward attending veterinary school.

Martha lives in the mountains of New Mexico with her husband and their black miniature poodle, Clark.

When not writing, Martha can frequently be found knitting or trying to choose just one fountain pen to add to her collection.
