My Story

In 2019, she won the Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart award for Romance with Spiritual and Religious Elements. She is currently working on a series set in the farmland of Southeast Missouri during World War II, and finding her father to be a great source of information since he remembers his father's stories of that time and place.

Martha lives in the Missouri Ozarks with her husband and their black miniature poodle, Clark.

When not writing, Martha can frequently be found knitting or trying to choose just one fountain pen to add to her collection.
